Developer Background

Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Bangalore, Puravankara Limited has delivered more than 100 landmark projects across Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kochi, and Coimbatore. With a total of 11 projects in Mumbai and Pune, spanning approximately 14 million sq ft, Puravankara has established a significant presence in western India, of which 3.6 million sq ft is attributed to redevelopment alone.

This announcement follows Puravankara's previous acquisitions of development rights for prestigious redevelopment projects in Mumbai's Breach Candy, Pali Hill, and Lokhandwala. The region is projected to contribute Rs. 18,000 crore in total GDV, with Rs. 7,700 crore from redevelopment initiatives.

Market Context

The Chembur Real Estate Market has experienced consistent growth over the last decade, with redevelopment projects, premium residential launches, and limited land availability contributing to rising property prices and strong demand. Chembur real estate has transformed into one of Mumbai's most dynamic markets, blending seamless connectivity, upscale living, and high-growth potential, with a surge in premium developments and infrastructure upgrades.
