Puravankara Secures Rs 2,600 Crore Redevelopment Project in Goregaon West, Mumbai
Redevelopment Rights Secured in Goregaon West
Puravankara Limited has secured redevelopment rights for three residential societies in Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West, Mumbai. Spread across 4.68 acres, the project offers a total developable potential of approximately 1.05 million sq. ft. and an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹2,600 crore.
The addition marks Puravankara's eighth redevelopment project in Mumbai and further strengthens its presence in the city's redevelopment market. With this addition, the company's Mumbai redevelopment portfolio alone represents a potential GDV of approximately ₹17,500 crore.
Location and Market Position
Located in the western suburbs, Goregaon West is a well-established residential market with strong connectivity to key business districts and social infrastructure. The project fits into Puravankara's broader strategy in Mumbai's western corridor, where the developer has already established significant presence through multiple completed and ongoing projects.
Expanding Redevelopment Portfolio
Over the past three years, Puravankara has steadily expanded its Mumbai redevelopment portfolio across locations including Breach Candy, Pali Hill, Lokhandwala, Chembur, Malabar Hill and Cuffe Parade. The Bangur Nagar acquisition underscores the company's focus on participating in established neighbourhoods where redevelopment can modernise aging residential societies.
Developer Scale and Track Record
As of June 30, 2026, the company has completed 97 projects totaling around 59 million square feet across nine cities: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mangaluru, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, and Goa. The company's recent financial performance reflects expansion momentum, with revenue from operations increasing 61.85% year-on-year to Rs 848.72 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
